"It was a get away to a quiet place with a lot of unique features. There is a walking path lit with colorful leds, that was fun to stroll. The out house is funky but very clean, a very rural experience. The cabin was very nice, almost like palacial tree house but on the ground. It was warm enough and I slept well too. This is a get away spot, I recommend, part of which what is not there makes it special. Waldon Pond in a field! I could easly spend a week there doing my writing & a artistic retreat."

"I stayed at the Baxter Park inn back in October 2023, and liked the hotel, so I booked it again for this trip. Millinocket doesn't have a lot going on, but my trip was mainly for visiting Baxter State park and the nearby hiking trails. The housekeeping service is excellent - especially in this post COVID world."

"The place is quiet with a great view on the back. They are in the middle of renovation and most of the amenities are great. There's a refrigerator and microwave in the room which is also great. Recommend this place for staying."

"I didn’t get to stay there (yet) because I was held up in my light aircraft by weather and couldn’t get into Lincoln. Under the contract I forfeited my lodging fee, but they called me and offered to switch it to next time I came into town at no charge. It was an amazing act of generosity and hospitality. I am a fan for life."

"Gwen and Andrew’s cabin was a perfect place to unwind and watch the beauty of the lake by morning, noon and night. It was very tidy, clean and very well thought out for the cozy space inside, with plenty of seating areas outside to move yourself with the sun throughout the day. They kindly offered use of their canoe to explore the peacefully quiet lake and fishing in the coves. We had a wonderful stay and hope to come back again to rejuvenate in this peaceful place! "
